My clothing business is totally run by AI. I started it at sixteen and reached the VAT threshold 18 months later. I only got there because I stopped doing the repetitive tasks by hand and wrote software to do them instead.

What I have built.
UK Lending · Mortgage brokerage
A website and back-office system built around how the brokers already work. Seven enquiry forms are logged and acknowledged as soon as they arrive, while live mortgage rates update automatically.
New enquiries become applications in the CRM without anyone entering the same information twice, saving each broker around half an hour each mortgage application. Invoices are created as finished PDFs from a single message and clients are automatically sent the best rate before their fixed-rate deals come to an end.
Online clothing · My own shop
Stock updates every morning, the profit and loss is ready before I open my laptop. The system monitors which listings are performing, shifts marketing spend towards the products that are selling and answers customer questions using the actual order and refund information.
The system doesn't just run the business, it grows it too. It researches demand, suggests new products, sends them to the supplier and prepares the listings for the store.
Nothing I build for a client is tested on their business first. It runs here, using my own shop and my own money.
Property investment · London
Four corporate websites for three companies within the same family group, built from scratch to give each of them digital visibility.
The Commercial Law Pathway · Legal coaching and search
Two connected businesses with two distinct websites.
The first supports aspiring commercial lawyers through coaching and career guidance. The second is a legal search firm with its own job board for live opportunities.
Enquiries from either website are acknowledged automatically, organised and qualified before they reach the owner, so he opens each one already knowing who the person is and what they need.
Pushtimarg Satsang · iOS, Android and web
A religious audio and learning platform available on iOS, Android and the web.
Users can listen to audio, build playlists and receive festival reminders, even when they have limited or no internet connection. A separate content system allows new material to be published without waiting for another app update.
Where most people start
Most people meet AI as an email that writes itself. That's the smallest thing it can do.
It's a lovely trick, and it genuinely does impress people. But the writing was never the slow part. The slow part is everything around it: the enquiry logged in the right place, the acknowledgement that should have gone while you were still in the meeting, the document raised and numbered, the reminder on day fourteen that only goes out if somebody remembers it's day fourteen.
All of that can be handed over too, and joined up, so a job that used to need someone sitting on it happens quietly in the background. Owners are usually surprised by how much of the week is that sort of work.
